We are committed to providing a limited number of clients with hands-on, comprehensive services.  We work as partners to make communications fresh and relevant as well as creative and impactful on behalf of our clients.  We like what we do and our clients do too.   

Led by partners Amy Lee and Jennifer Armstrong Gay, 133 has a deep bench of experts - think graphic and web design, video and webcast production, focus group testing and advertising - to ensure every project has a full team perfectly suited to the client and budget.

Partner | Amy Lee has led communications for associations, non-profit groups and the occasional documentary filmmaker.  The result is a seasoned professional that understands strategy for crafting a good story that gives a clear message.   Since founding 133 in 2007, Amy has written keynote speeches for leading health care organizations, been responsible for op-eds in major outlets and orchestrated events for hundreds of VIPs.

Before 133, Amy worked at the American Hospital Association for almost a decade where she developed communication strategies to support AHA’s advocacy efforts including leading projects that involved grassroots, member resource development, public service announcements and early digital media. Prior to joining AHA, Amy worked in the press shop of Senator Don Nickles (R-OK) where she was responsible for state media.

Amy holds a master's degree from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Christian University in Oklahoma City. She lives on Capitol Hill.  She can be reached at amy@133publicaffairs.com.

Partner | Jennifer Armstrong Gay brings 20 years of expertise specializing in alliance building, message development, media relations and social marketing. Much of Jennifer's experience comes from work in the health care field. Prior to joining 133 as a partner in 2013, Jennifer worked at the American Hospital Association managing strategic communications, as well as leading the association to explore partnership opportunities for hospitals at both the national and local levels.

Jennifer began her career working in leading public relations firms on behalf of clients including The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the American Cancer Society and Catholic Charities.

Jennifer has a bachelor's degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia and a master's degree from The American University in Washington, DC. She lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia with her husband and three daughters. She can be reached at jennifer@133publicaffairs.com.
